The New Credit Union for Santa Maria

CoastHills Credit union is growing! They are moving from their Vandenberg headquarters to Enos Ranchos on Betteravia Rd. Hello, new neighbors.

The brand new 90,000 SF building will give them some growing room (double their previous location) and for now, they will rent out the top floor. CoastHills 150 employees are slated to make the move in 2018.

This is part of exciting new growth seen throughout Santa Maria and San Louis Obispo including housing, restaurants, hotels and mixed-use projects. This is good news for the economy and local development. Santa Maria is quickly and firmly establishing itself as a go-to for wine lovers and beach goer’s alike.

A Good Thing for Local’s

Small banks have a harder time keeping up with fees and regulations in the lending market, so a local established credit union is a huge benefit. They have been a part of the Vandenberg community since 1958 and aim to expand throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz county as well as plans for an East Coast branch in New York.

In addition to the credit union, Enos Ranchos will have upwards of 300 apartments, 3 separate retail centers, office space, auto dealers and a junior high! Residents also have a Costco and Lowes in their near future.

It’s exciting news for the sleepy central coast. The county of Santa Barbara prides itself on controlled growth, so residents can breathe easier. We at Celebrations couldn’t be more excited to welcome more amenities, neighbors and a beautiful credit union to help make home ownership an affordable reality for all.
